The start date listed is the first day on the mountain. You should plan on being in Moshi anytime the day before the start date. All prices are quoted in US Dollars.
If you do not find climbing dates for your timing, then no problem, send us your dates and month, and we shall add them on this page for other travellers to join your expedition.
Availability & Pricing
Please be advised that availability cannot be guaranteed for any group climb date until your booking has been confirmed. We therefore recommend securing your preferred climbing date as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Once your climb has been confirmed and your deposit has been received, your agreed price is locked in and will not be affected by any subsequent price increases.
Payment Terms
A deposit of US$99 per person is required to confirm your Kilimanjaro booking. The remaining balance for your climb will be paid in cash in US Dollars (or its equivalent amount in Euros or British pounds sterling), the balance to be paid on the day of your arrival in Tanzania, before the climb begins.

Tipping Policy With Affordable Kilimanjaro Company
Recommended Tipping On Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition:
>>Lead Guide: $20-25 per day
>>Assistant Guide: $15-20 per day
>>Chef/Cook: $12-15 per day
>>Porters: $10-12 per day per porter
For example, if four travellers are on the mountain, each person could contribute $5.00 per day to make a one day tip of 20$ for the assistant guide.
Cash condition: Bring clean, undamaged US dollar bills printed after 2009, or its equivalent in either in EUROS OR STERLING POUNDS. Avoid coins since they cannot be exchanged locally.
The tipping ceremony: Tips are normally handed over collectively during a celebration on the final day at the last camp or at the park gate.
