Mount Meru Day Hike - All Inclusive - for US$605.00 for 2 Persons

1 day Mount Meru hike is a 7-8 hour trekking experience in Arusha National Park, typically covering 18-20 km through diverse montane forests and crater zones. The trip includes an armed ranger for safety against wildlife, starting at Momella Gate, featuring views of Meru Falls, or hiking up to Kitoto Viewpoint.

A Day Hiking Itinerary

• 07:30 AM – Pickup & Transfer: Early morning pickup from BnB hotel in Moshi town.

• 08:30 AM – Registration: Arrival at Arusha National Park, Momella Gate, for registration and to meet your armed ranger.

• 09:30 AM – Hike Start: Drive to the trailhead and begin the hike through the Montane forest and surrounding crater, spotting wildlife such as buffaloes, monkeys, and giraffes.

• 12:30 PM – Picnic Lunch: Reach a designated viewpoint (such as Kitoto viewpoint) for a picnic lunch with views of the crater.

• 02:00 PM – Further Exploration: Continue hiking along the crater rim or towards waterfalls, depending on the chosen route.

• 04:00 PM – Descent: Begin the return trek to the park gate.

• 05:00 PM – End of Tour: Transfer back to your accommodation in Moshi town.
